I deleted my WhatsApp account a while ago. Luckily I have some supportive friends who still talk to me and forward important info (a lot of mandatory school info is distributed via WhatsApp) to me via SMS, email and phone calls. I do talk to less people overall though since pretty much everyone (especially young people) uses WhatsApp or Snapchat as their primary communication medium.
