Consider using low quality images initially, buy then using JavaScript to replace those placeholders with higher quality images after the page has loaded.
It's a common technique that seems to satisfy both the crowd wanting near instant page loads, and the crowd wanting high resolution experience.
- B3hdad 7y agoSure, will enhance it as you suggest. I also believe it has something to do with the component that I am using to render the images. I will investigate both possibilities. Thanks for the advice.
