- ErotemeObelus 7y agoAs if we need anything more.
- cutler 7y agoI don't agree with the "just Python". Hy gets around Python's crippled lambdas and frees you from indentation hell. Hy also gives you real macros, expressions instead of return statements, improved lisp-style comprehensions, :symbols and switch/case whilst removing the need for nonlocal/global.
- lonelappde 7y agoThe word "just" almost always adds nothing of value makes a sentence less polite.
- TazeTSchnitzel 7y agoI completely agree and try to limit my usage of it. I am using it here to emphasise that it is only a different syntax for Python and nothing more. That is not to say that it is not valuable or interesting.
- mepian 7y agoThe macros support is a pretty big deal.
