Most people aren't exclusively using their TV to watch movies. When turning on the TV in the afternoon to watch your favorite soap opera with finest motion smoothing, you might not bother that much and just want the TV to be a little brighter.
- nemosaltat 7y agoFair enough. Wonder if any SmartTVs have an API endpoint for brightness/profiles. It’d be cool to have an external/remote ambient light sensor that could change your TV setting automatically.
