because growth hacking edit: i have no idea why people upvote medium posts. it's literally blogspam which, 99% of the time, is used to build personal brands or content market some product. i guess that's the value prop of medium - polished enough that the post looks like serious exposition - but that people continue to be fooled is strange to me. hell i don't know why people upvote content marketing at all (probably because they don't actually read the articles).
