So I'm guessing if you're approaching 40 and want to become a developer you should seriously consider other options. I've actually seen this talked about a lot. The arguments against it is usually anecdotal but the arguments for it is usually statistical. It's a tough thing for people to accept I think. Is there any statistics out there that actually disputes this claim? Not arguing for or against it just out of curiosity.
