I recently found a really old floppy in a box. It contained the first client work I ever did for someone, around 1990 or so. It was an implementation of an algorithm for computing the inbreeding coefficient of a population. The program read the population data from a database and then wrote the resulting coefficient back into a new column. I pleasantly surprised at how good my code was.
