- paulcole 7y agoNot if the extra $15k keeps an otherwise good teacher/educator from leaving and going to a private company.
- fuzz4lyfe 7y agoI'm happy to pay the good teachers more so long as we can pay the bad ones less and get rid of them easily. The unions fight measures like that hard in my experience.
- yummypaint 7y agoUnions fight to protect their members. If taxpayers arent willing to fund enough compensation to attract quality candidates, it is gaurenteed to create a bad situation. Unions protecting bad teachers is a symptom not a cause.
