In addition to those mentioned (gambling, adtech, military industrial complex), I'll add predatory lending companies. There are several in my city and my heart sinks a little each time a friend or coworker moves to one :/ to be fair I'm young and have no children so it's easy to say no to them. If I had kids or otherwise needed a job and those were the only options I might think differently. hopefully it never comes to that
