Fallout from nuclear bomb testing has nothing to do with waste from nuclear power plants - why would you confuse the two?
- pjc50 7y agoOne of the few things that Greenpeace and the US military agree on is that civilian and military nuclear programs are very difficult to tell apart from the outside. That's why everyone watches Iran so closely. Opposition to nuclear weapons fed back through nuclear testing into opposing the construction of the reactors themselves, because without the reactors there is no weapons programme.
- someguydave 7y agoThe fact that nuclear reactors are used in one step of the long process of manufacturing some nuclear bomb components does not give anyone license to confuse nuclear bomb test fallout with nuclear reactor waste.
