- brainlessdev 7y agoI haven't changed jobs since I started contributing two years ago. So it hasn't, really, but I learned a lot. It probably will help in the future.
- martius 7y ago+1, I did the same thing 5 years ago (https://marti.us/w/2014-07-19-Mozilla-BSP.html https://marti.us/w/2014-07-19-Mozilla-BSP.html). It indirectly helped my carreer: It gave me confidence that I could be an occasional contributor to OSS. I learned valuable things when doing each contribution.
