I think the 9.7 and Air should be merged to become the simple, affordable non-Pro iPad.
- iPad ==> Mini
==> Regular (preferably 10.5")
- iPad Pro ==> 11"
==> 12.9"
That's a compact line up in my opinion and leaves the customer with two decision: Pro/non-Pro and size.
- scarface74 7y agoAnd then leave out the Air that gives them an affordable larger iPad with a smart connector. What benefit is there from doing that for either Apple or consumers?
- scarface74 7y agoSecond point: why would they get rid of the 9.7” $329 iPad? When they introduced it, they saw an uptick in sells.
