Wouldn't there be little-to-no soil? So their roots would be anchoring in rock AFAIK?
- jandrese 7y agoThe soil would be peat I think. Leafy parts of plants would decay, just the woody parts would remain. Probably pretty thin soil though, hence the shallow roots.
