Nice story of enterprise life. But personally, I still apply strict standards - if your unsubscribe link doesn't unsubscribe immediately, then you are spam, and will be marked and treated as such.
- WaylonKenning 7y agoPretty tough when it's your bank. I get marketing phone calls from Bell all the time trying to sell me on more TV channels. Joke's on them - I don't even own a TV! I tell them every time they call, they say thank you, and I get a call from them again every four weeks or so.

- autoexec 7y ago> - if your unsubscribe link doesn't unsubscribe immediately, then you are spam, and will be marked and treated as such. I just never use unsubscribe links period. If I don't want something (and it's basically never anything I actually signed up for like a news letter or mailing list) I just have it dumped to the trash or a spam folder. I never see them anymore and it no longer impacts me and as an added bonus it consumes resources for the companies who spam my inbox. Why bother with an unsubscribe attempt at all?
