Well your example issue would precisely be solved by only displaying the domain name to users. Paypal.com vs random-Name.com: much easier to distinguish.

- masswerk 7y agoHowever, even in this particular edge case, why hide that there's a prefix (while you, the browser vendor, were able to put up some kind of indication for this with ease)? Generally, highlight, but don't conceal.
