Pardon me asking but since this setting is on the client, how one is sure that it is even considered/respected on the server?
- dfeojm-zlib 7y agoWithout subpoenaing Apple, it seems like blind trust to me.
- madez 7y agoIf you have a working iPhone, Googles-Android based device or Windows computer around you, it is blind trust they don't surveil you, unless you permanently monitor and control their communications.
- egberts1 7y agoWouldn’t one be able to verify this by placing your own MitM at your own home gateway, no?
- thedanbob 7y agoThe requests still have to go to Apple. The only way to verify if they’re logged or not would be to examine the servers themselves and the software running on them.
