Same reason as you just stated. Why give a loved one something that a lot of other people will have, try and be more unique.

- cremp 7y agoCareful with that. I had the same thought, but was proven 'wrong' because my SO did not want anything but diamond, just because of the 'tradition.' No amount of reading online would get her to change her mind. She was worth it though.
