Iran helped Hezbollah bomb US citizens - hundreds died. First the US Embassy in Lebanon and then the US Marines Barracks who were on a UN mission to protect Christians during the Lebanon Civil War. Iran also sponsored and trained extremists in Iraq responsible for killing and maiming thousands of U.S. soldiers.
You can count up the death toll, and you'll find that nearly as many US citizens were killed by Iran-backed operations over the decades as were killed by Wahabbist operations (including 9/11). https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/american-victims-of-terrorist-attacks https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/american-victims-of-ter...
Mohammad Bin-Salman is getting the realpolitik pass because he so far is significantly more secularist than his rivals and predecessors and is relatively tolerant of the US & Israel compared to his rivals. Regardless of your feelings on AIPAC, that's a necessary step toward peace in the region. The Muslim Brotherhood and other Sunni fundamentalists despise him for that (and for how strictly and sometimes horrifically Saudi agencies are treating them). The current Prince deserves criticism, but you're lumping him in with the wrong faction.

Iran as a nation has never harmed anybody I know. I cannot say the same about Israel, the Israel genocide force murdered an American friend of mine about 15 years ago, running her over with a bulldozer when protesting in Gaza. Saudi Arabia funded and executed 9/11. An old manager of mine died in 9/11, therefore, Saudi Arabia has murdered somebody I know, on Saudi soil. Iran has never harmed anybody on US soil. The bombing of that marine barracks? That's war, war on foreign soil, where America does not belong. In return, America has murdered tens of thousands of Iranians, has starved them through embargoes, and the CIA helped remove a democratically elected, liberal democrat with a terrorist who wanted to impose Shariah law. Thanks to us, the entire nation has suffered for 40 years .. and will keep suffering as long as AIPAC deems it so.

Man. It's been 16 years since her skull was smashed to death by zionist murderers. She was 23 years old and doing the right thing.

Iran also sponsored and trained extremists in Iraq responsible for killing and maiming thousands of U.S. soldiers. I really wanted to come back to this. Why is it that when we murder people in the middle-east, we are soldiers and citizens, but when middle-easterners kill us, they are terrorists? When Palestinians defend their homes, they are terrorists, when Israelis kill Palestinians, they are the chosen people doing god's will. Don't you see some discord there? As an American, I'm baffled by our support of Israel and criticism of Palestine. If the tables were turned, would Americans be terrorists for defending our homes, and for killing those who kill us in order to take our property? Why is this any different? Why do we give them a free pass to destroy a nation, systematically remove them from their homes, take their passports (Palestinians must become Jordanian citizens in order to leave Occupied Palestine)? If I make a fake book that claims to be 3,001 years, is it cool for me to go to Jerusalem and start claiming buildings as mine?
- peanutgal2600 7y agoSoldiers are not citizens. When soldiers die in war, they are casualties, they are not victims of terrorism.
