I’m not sure that this has anything to do with where the organisation is registered, rather where services are provided. CA has particularly strict education regulations from what I understand (I’m not an expert at all, but I was homeschooled, and that’s certainly more heavily regulated in CA than most states). I’d be curious where Lambda has to register, and how all of this is managed from a compliance perspective, especially as they expand into international markets.
