What did you guys managed to do to bread? Every time i go to America' toast / sandwiches are inedible because it tastes closer to what i call cake.

  Most industrial bread sold in the US has high fructose corn syrup added.

    Flour, yeast, water, and salt - maybe a stabilizer for commercial sales. Why corn syrup?

      Sweeteners are addictive, leads to more sales.
