I sometimes wonder if the American healthcare system and the UK housing market aren't deliberately kept expensive for much the same reason.
- amiga_500 7y agoIn the UK there is a lot of rhetoric about "the free market". When prices looked like they were going to drop, the government stepped in with "help to buy". The free market rhetoric is just that. It's a complete and utter lie.
