Opponents urge CSU to reject 4th year of high school math for admission
- Tempest1981 7y agoThis would start in 2026. But a small percentage (5%) of high schools (often in low-income areas) don't offer 4 years of math. CSU = California State University
- stevespang 7y ago"Those critics warned that the new requirement would especially hurt low-income, black and Latino students who are more likely to attend high schools that don’t offer the necessary courses". . . Stop dumbing down our admissions based on so called "diversity". Everything should be merit based. If those poor schools don't offer the 4th year of math, let the students take it at their local community college.
