> to create secure and memorable passwords?
Step 1: Stop worrying about "memorable" passwords and focus only on secure. Anyone today with even a tiny internet presence will have a larger number of passwords than can be memorized by that person (without many of them being reused).
Step 2: Pick a password manager (preferably one with a built in "generate random password" feature). Which manager is less important than looking for specific features that you will need/want to make use of the manager. But the "generate random password" feature should be tops in your list. All managers /should/ have this feature, but if by chance you find one that does not, remove it from your selection list.
Step 3: After you select a manager, then always use the "generate random password" feature for generating secure, unique, passwords for all websites you visit that need passwords. Note the word 'all' above, it is important. Once you go this route, you should never reuse the same password anywhere, and you should never 'make up' a password manually, no matter how throwaway you consider an account. Always use the password manager to generate a secure password. If you later decide to throw the account away, you can delete the password entry from your manager. But if the account becomes non-throwaway later, which does happen, you will already be using a secure unique password.
