Because I worked at AWS for the last 8 years :) Tbh, I don’t think it’s prohibited, but CloudFormation was the default choice.

- sieabahlpark 7y agoYou probably would have run into security issues with using terraform as each version would have to be vetted and any extensions you use
- captn3m0 7y agoThe Terraform AWS providers are maintained by AWS engineers, but the rest of the code will still need vetting.
