I was shocked by how powerful SproutCore was, once I actually started hacking on it. I suspect that it will be a very big deal in 2011. I am also really excited by socket protocol tech advancements in the browser. I was able to pull off seriously cool stuff using http://pusherapp.com/ http://pusherapp.com/ and also http://faye.jcoglan.com/ http://faye.jcoglan.com/ which is a nifty JS implementation of the Bayeux protocol.
