I worked QA at a place that had huge CSV log files for a device. Sometimes the log files were slow to open in Excel, or just would not open at all. I started using Jupyter and Pandas for my own work, just so I could get something done. I really liked it. But the organization was moving even more in the MS direction, I'm sure any thought of Pandas died after I left. Try something like that if you can.
