- vidarh 7y agoYes. Specifically, a service worker returning 'something' is required if you want Chrome on Android to offer your users to add the site to their home screen.
- NiloCK 7y agoI have a Windows machine whose internet connection is not always on, and I get this every single time I go to this site. Rotten Tomatoes too. If I didn't know how to do a hard refresh (eg, ctrl-f5) the pages would both be permanently inaccessible to me. I wonder how many readers they miss out on because of it.
