Plenty of boomers bucked the trend, but by and large they defended the status quo, moved the nation economically to the right, locked everyone up for minor crimes, and just absolutely devastated the environment, to name just a few of their great accomplishments. Under the boomers, labor unions have all buy gone extinct. And for the record, the largest protests in US history have occurred amidst the rise of the millennials (Iraq war protests and Women's March).
