Another one of these articles. For novelty, I'm expecting to see an article about the novel idea of there being successful developers who do have CS degrees. It can happen! The site seems to lean pretty heavily on contradicting the remarkable idea that you might need a CS degree to slap together a website and write some lines of PHP. But that being said, there's a lot of evidence that some people who don't have CS degrees can do great programming and even great CS, and a lot of evidence that some people with CS degrees can't code their way out of a wet paper bag. I'm not sure why everyone feels the need to run around with their dresses over their heads every time this comes up; although it does provide a good venue for people to indulge in the harmless pleasure of praising oneself on HN.
