I wonder if they practise binning, the same way the chip and hard disk makers do. I'm a Singapore resident and have bought Uniqlo from many countries, and I personally think it might be more of the material and the product line. Their jeans (even the selvage ones) and socks tend to blow out pretty quickly, but their linen clothes and Airism products are good.
