Same author who wrote the New York Magazine story on Climate Change a little while back, which scared the pants off everyone. Promoted debate over whether fear is a good or bad motivator to get people to change behavior. My personal opinion is that it is. Or at a minimum, the watered down, conservative IPCC narratives really failed to move politicians and the general public.
