Ask HN: Courses or books on solar system and orbital navigation techniques?

I'm interested in better understanding how to navigate the solar system. Via articles and random searching, I'm vaguely familiar with things like the Hohmann transfer, gravity assists, etc. But I'm curious if there is a comprehensive course or book that gives layman definitions of the various techniques NASA and others use to drive satellites and spacecraft to various locations.
