What's the over-under on how much longer Amazon will employ people for warehouse jobs? 10 years?
- gpm 7y agoAt least. Robots will (and are) reducing the number of employees, but humans are incredibly flexible components to stick in your pipeline. Fully eliminating the use of them will take a long time unless there is a large external motivator (i.e. politics/unionization making it untenable to continue hiring humans for the tasks). (Personal opinion, I have no special experience in the field)
