That’s an excellent, terse description of what I’ve found my role as a senior engineer to be. It’s not in the official job description but it’s what I end up doing day to day.
- mooreds 7y agoThanks! I think this is why job descriptions for senior engineers are often hard to write. You often want a general purpose problem solver, but all you have is examples of types of problems that have been solved in the past, and so you put that in the job description (the general you, not you specifically, of course).
