I think many people here understand how stress and mood inform eating habits. Who among us has not indulged after a particularly bad day? Now imagine that bad day was every day, and you don't have the money, time, and energy to drown your feelings with healthier activities like strenuous exercise. The best way to improve the lives of poor people is to give them money. Enough with this know-better-than-thou ban & incentize crap. Poor people get jerked around enough already.
