Too many “fall of”s in the title
- _nhynes 7y agoWell, the article does end on a positive note, so maybe we’re nearing the winter of the fall of French cuisine ;)
- Syzygies 7y agoYes, it's distracting. I imagine a review on nymag's site, explaining the "immediacy" that comes from mods leaving such obvious errors unfixed. Or, a discussion of roads and traffic. Build bigger roads, congestion gets worse. Mods didn't sign up for this, grammar police! If they fix this one, we'll all get lazier about checking our titles, and the situation gets worse not better. This could be explained by the Lotka–Volterra "preditor prey" equations? No, make a mistake in a title, you have to wear it. Like leaving a baseball pitcher out there, behind 16-3, to "take on for the team".
- dang 7y agoHow'd we miss that? That was a "Paris in the the Spring". Fixed now, thanks! (Submitted title was "The Rise and Fall of Fall of French Cuisine")
