I honestly don't understand why US whataboutism comes up in every China thread. I have no relation to the US, and we hardly drink their koolaid here in Germany. Cold hard cash already rules most of the world, including the UN (Saudi Arabia on the Human Rights Council, anyone?). That doesn't mean we have to accelerate this trend for the sake of consistency.
