I didn't watch television for 2 years. (I watched a movie on rare occasion, but that was the exception.) I read a lot during that time. It felt fantastic. I don't think I've ever had so much thinking space. I still don't watch a lot of television. Occasionally a movie with my wife on the weekend. I'm pretty happy with it. :) Sure, there are other things I do that are probably a waste of time, but one step at a time.
