- knd775 7y agoDoes it have a standalone mode, where it doesn't need to be controlled by software? I'm interested in using it with prebuilt images that wouldn't be able to run the python to control the fan.
- whiskers 7y agoBy default it's always on. If you (optionally) install the daemon then it can use the Pi SoC's internal temperature sensor to control dynamically based on need.
- mindcrime 7y agoI don't suppose it has a fan RPM sensor or anything, so one can monitor the health of the fan itself?
- whiskers 7y ago@mindcrime - I can't reply to you due to max depth. The current version doesn't, we're having a new, custom, fan made with an RPM feedback line for a future model but it'll be a couple of months yet.
- Rychard 7y agoIf you click on the time above the post, it'll take you to a page where you can type a reply.
- whiskers 7y agoMuch obliged!
- naikrovek 7y agoNice.

- isoprophlex 7y agoInsanely cool! Very convenient form factor too. You're about to sell two more of em.
- deadcast 7y agoNever seen these before and just bought one! I'm going to try running some old 3d games via Wine on the Pi and this fan will probably really help performance. :)
- mindcrime 7y agoAwesome. I didn't know about these until day, and I just ordered one. I may need a couple more down the line as well.
