IMHO, one of the best thing in Apple Maps is that they localized the street names to those one familiar to locals. I live in Bangkok, and Google Maps always say something like “Road No. 3” (which was not wrong, but nobody here calls it that) whereas Apple Maps correctly identify them as “Sukhumvit Road”.
