Takes machine into apple store
“Yep, new keyboard needed”
“That’ll be 3 weeks”
“Can I have a loaner laptop?”
“No, we don’t do that”
“Ok I’d like to buy your latest highest spec MBP you have in stock on my credit card”
“Ok here you go”
3 weeks later:
“Your MBP is ready”
“Cool, can I return this one please as I’m still in the returns window”
“...okay”
