Seems like Audible DRM isn't a problem for pirates, 'cause I've seen a lot of their audiobooks on trackers. Non-tech people doesn't care about DRM in general,

  > Seems like Audible DRM isn't a problem for pirates, 'cause I've seen a lot of their audiobooks on trackers. I mean, is it ever? Outside of exceptional circumstances like Denuvo, and even that's usually temporary. > Non-tech people doesn't care about DRM in general, they prefer discounts, and here Amazon plays well. I could make a similar argument about data privacy. Does that mean we shouldn't bring it up? But separately, isn't it a bit weird for the article to bring up DRM as a "dark side" of the audiobook industry, without mentioning that DRM-Free audiobooks are readily available?

    > circumstances like Denuvo, and even that's usually temporary. Guess it exists a lot of time, just check google. > without mentioning that DRM-Free audiobooks are readily available? True. Also, lack of DRM-is-bad advertisement, plus many people don't know about deDRM.
