I think the above comments are the clue that the private sector isn't interested. Too many downsides in being a primary battery. BTW hearing aid batteries are zinc air. So the metal-air technology has certain uses, but as for EVs the highly energy intensive process of re-generating the batteries is probably what causes potential investors to pass.
