I’m curious, but are we biased here on HN or is it literally every piece of news that’s coming out on that company is about another nasty privacy invading practice at Facebook? Although I admit there are some posts about FB open source projects here too.
- outside1234 7y agoI think Facebook is biased itself towards doing a whole bunch of nasty privacy practices, not HN in reporting them.

- Kiro 7y agoThey cause it themselves but you should always remember that HN is not representative of public opinion.
- high_5 7y agoNot only about FB. Yesterday it was about MSFT ad farming in Windows. The one MSFT, which also invests a lot in open source/-ish tech.
