I actually doubt it. Whenever I go back to Italy I can easily buy glasses at full price for the same price I get WITH insurance in the USA. Same story for a lot

I actually doubt it. Whenever I go back to Italy I can easily buy glasses at full price for the same price I get WITH insurance in the USA. Same story for a lot of other stuff, like dental work etc... Insurance pushes the price of care up by about 5 to 6 times in my estimation, single payer would fix it.
