- mpiedrav 7y agoHowever, Intel closed the fab business here years ago, when they decided to reduce expenses even further by moving production to Malaysia. They are still around with some software-related projects. Our Costa Rican economy is, more than ever before, based on providing services: customer support, technical support, financial services, web and games development, digital arts, ecotourism, etc.
