Is this legal? Ethical? I think neither. The author and publisher want people to pay to read it. In fact the article wouldn't even exist without those payments. I'd rather not infringe on their copyright and intent. Maybe that means the link shouldn't be listed here on HN.

the publisher has authorized HN to view it. the guy who works there has commented about it on another thread.
