I suggest you use Power Query to load external data. If you do, pivot tables and tables connected to those queries should all update automatically on refresh.

I suggest you use Power Query to load external data. If you do, pivot tables and tables connected to those queries should all update automatically on refresh. Power Query is really the best feature in Excel to me, eventually users will stop copy pasting from Access to Excel and I'll be happy.
