I'm so glad that Apple pushes updates to protect me as a user. Why would I want to be vulnerable to unwanted webcam access? I am an Apple customer, and I now feel even happier about being one.

But at the same time i do not think it is a good idea to want Apple to be able to silently remove arbitrary applications they had nothing to do with from your computer. At the very least they should ask the user about it or quarantine the software and inform the user about it. AFAIK this is what Windows Defender does when it finds malicious files.
