What if Prenda just mined BitTorrent to find adult videos which were already being pirated at high volume (2 Girls, 1 Cup), and found the legal copyright holders, and bought the rights, then sued? Would that have been legal?
- saltminer 7y agoThey evaded taxes with their out-of-court settlements, so unless they changed their settlement practices, they'd still be running afoul of the law.
